NEET

NEET 2017 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a national level medical entrance test regulated by the CBSE Board. It is held for providing admissions in MBBS/BDS courses offered by all government and private medical colleges in India. It is a one tier exam, commences once in a year in month of May. From the year 2016 onwards, NEET exam has replaced AIPMT exam. All seats (MBBS/BDS) of any medical/dental college will be filled by the score of NEET examination only. As per the last order by Hon. Supreme Court, no other exam except NEET will be held for offering admission into MBBS/BDS courses in India from the year 2017.

 

How to Study for NEET 2017?

 

Nothing special. The preparation strategy for NEET should be the same like AIPMT.

Students who are worried about the difference in syllabus of NEET and their state CET, it’s not that big issue which is made out by everybody. The key is to follow recommended books (NCERT) or AIPMT study material of any coaching.

 

Subject Wise Tips for NEET 2017

 

Physics : Along with a good book for physics like HC Verma , it’s recommended to follow a coaching material as it is specifically designed for entrance exam preparation.

Practice conceptual problems. Take up problems that relate theoretical physics to daily life. Your analytical skills will be tested in solving the questions.

 

For Chemistry & Biology : Read from NCERT books. These are recommended books for NEET.

NCERT books, practice tests, doubt removals, revising topics, solving questions every day, maintaining speed and accuracy, and regular with your coaching classes throughout the next 1 year are some of the key things which you need to follow to crack NEET 2017.
