Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) entrance test is designed to examine the skill and aptitude of an applicant for the management courses taught at Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi. It is on the basis of the FMS result that the eligible candidates are short listed and called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview and an extempore.

Eligibility:

Candidates applying for admission to the first year of MBA (Full-Time) Programme must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor's Degree Programme after 12 years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines. The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows :-

Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences - 50%

Sciences - 55%

Mathematics or Statistics - 60%

Medicine, Engineering or Technology - 60% / CGPA of at least 6.00 in a scale of 10.00

OR

Post Graduate Degree or 2nd Degree examination after 10+2+3 scheme, securing at least 60% marks.

Candidates appearing for the final examination of Bachelor's / Post Graduate Degree examinations are eligible to apply and appear in the entrance test (irrespective of their percentage of scores obtained till the time of application, as long as they expect to fulfill the eligibility criteria when their results are declared before 1st of October, 2013

Syllabus:

There is no prescribed syllabus or format for this multiple choice 2-hour admission test. The previous admission tests usually comprised the following basic areas:

Quantitative ability

Verbal ability

English comprehension

Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning

Test Format:

The duration of the test is two hours. FMS 2016 (for admission into FMS starting 2016) maintained the number of questions at 200, with four sections in all. There were 50 questions in each section. Similar to last year, certain questions (Correct/Incorrect Sentences) were modified versions of questions available on the Internet. Each correct answer secured +4, incorrect answer secured -1 while unanswered questions did not carry a penalty. At least 50th percentile rank score in each section of the test is required by a candidate to qualify for being short-listed in GD and Interview.

How to Apply:

All candidates will have to register using the online registration system.Before applying Online through i-Register for the different programmes offered by FMS, please go through the instructions. Then click on Apply online button to register yourself for the Admission Test (Entrance Examination).

Prerequisites for applying online:

You first need access to a computer with a printer.

Payment of Exam fee can be made by choosing any one of the modes given below during the registration process.

1.Exam fee can be paid through the Internet Payment Gateway of the Axis bank by your Credit card / Debit card.

2.Exam fee can be paid by crossed Demand draft (Please keep your DD ready at the time of online registering).

Candidates belonging to Categories other than SC/ST are required to pay Rs.750/- and those belonging to SC/ST are required to pay Rs.200/- for applying to each program.

Those paying through Demand Draft (DD) may please note that one single DD of the requisite amount is to be obtained from a scheduled bank drawn in favour of "Registrar, University of Delhi".Payable at Delhi.

You have the option to upload your photograph in JPEG, JPG or GIF format. If not, candidates can affix their passport size colour photograph, signature in the space provided on the printed acknowledgement form

Candidates belonging to reserved categories should send self attested photocopies of caste/ category certificates along with the printed application form
